About ProVia Door
Previously known as Precision Entry, Sugarcreek Industries and Monarch IG, ProVia
Door changed its name on January 1, 2008. The new identity unites the three
corporate entities and marks the company's creation of a new category of products,
professional-class doors.
The new product category represents ProVia Door's commitment to producing doors
with unparalleled levels of customization, and the highest quality standards and
customer satisfaction.
Located near Sugarcreek, Ohio, ProVia Door began under the name Precision Entry in
1977 in a small garage. Since that time, ProVia has been through many changes to
accommodate its growth including relocation, numerous building additions and the
implementation of state-of-the-art production equipment. The current headquarters,
constructed in 1984, underwent major renovation and expansion in 1993.
In 1995 Precision Entry acquired the assets of the Sugarcreek Window and Door
Company to form Sugarcreek Industries. The company is now part of ProVia Door.
In 2002, Precision Entry started its newest division, Monarch IG in nearby Baltic, Ohio.
Now also functioning under the name ProVia Door, the division manufactures
ComforTech Warm Edge Glazing Systems for several of the company's product lines.
Today, ProVia Door continues to invest in its facilities, employees and in the research
and development of the highest quality doors and components through a dedicated
team of 400 people with distribution throughout the United States.
