SUGARCREEK, OHIO (April 11, 2008) – ProVia Door is pleased to invest in the future of the area's youth by offering academic scholarships to eligible Hiland High School and Garaway High School seniors. The goal of these efforts is not only that students benefit through their education, but that our community will benefit through their long-term involvement in our schools, churches, and businesses.
Beginning in 2008, ProVia Door will be awarding two scholarships valued at $2,500 each. One of these scholarships will be awarded to an eligible senior from Hiland High School and one to an eligible senior from Garaway High School. Upon meeting certain continuing requirements, these scholarships are eligible for a one year renewal making a total of $5,000 for each student.
The Hiland Academic Boosters and the Garaway Education Foundation will be utilized to qualify and award these scholarships. Qualifying factors focus on academic excellence, area of study, leadership and financial need potential.
ProVia Door President & CEO, Bill Mullet, is particularly passionate about this scholarship because of its potential to help people achieve their goals. In addition to his role at ProVia Door, Mullet also serves as pastor of his local church. Bill Mullet uses his roles in business and ministry as opportunities to serve people by helping them excel in their faith and abilities. This scholarship is one such example.
ProVia Door manufactures a variety of professional-class door and window products locally using processes that enable efficient customization to meet homeowner preferences.
